What our couple’s journey looks like…
Step 1 : Get in touch
So, you’ve had a look around our website, and maybe a scroll through our Instagram and think we might be a great fit for your special day?
The first step is to get in touch via our Contact page, letting us know when and where your big day will be!
We’ll send you an email back letting you know if we are available or not (fingers crossed we are!) If you have any questions, just ask away and we’ll answer them for you.
When you’re happy, we’ll send over a booking email with a link to pay your deposit, contract to sign, and a questionnaire (which will help you get the best out of your photos).
Once you’re all booked in, you won’t hear from us until a few weeks before the big day - but no need to worry, if you have any queries along your wedding planning journey, just get in touch! We’ve made an Advice Blog which you might find helpful.
Step 2 : Final Touch Base
One month before your wedding we will get in touch to arrange a pre-wedding meeting to chat through your questionnaire and hear all about your final plans - basically get excited with you!
Being able to discuss your timeline with you is super beneficial - knowing all the little details means that we can let your day flow and not bother you with questions on the big day!
Step 3 : The Big Day
It’s finally here!! The best day EVER!
We love letting your day just happen, capturing the day as it unfolds. When needed, we will gently keep you on schedule with your timeline, so you don’t miss out on any photos that are important to you. We’re also on hand to teach the lads how to put on a button hole, and fix a veil if it blows off in the wind!
As for formalities, we will take you off for 20 minutes or so to capture some portraits together. We give simple prompts to help you get the best photos, whilst also making it a fun part of your day!
Next up are your group photos! We recommend no more than 10, so that you still have time to mingle with your guests before going in to be seated for dinner. Also, your cheeks will start to hurt after all that smiling!
If at any point you want more photos with friends or family, just grab either of us! After all, that’s why you’ve booked a photographer - well, in our case, two!
As soon as we get home, we back up all our photos. Although we’re usually shattered, we can’t sleep without knowing your photos are super safe!
Step 4 : Editing
We love to give you a sneak preview in the week after your special day, when you are still enjoying your wedding bubble.
We then get to work individually editing your photos, and checking the group photos for blinkers - there’s always one!
Within 8 weeks of your big day (sometimes a little longer during busy seasons) your full gallery will be ready for you to view and share with your loved ones!
Step 5 : Reminisce
All your images are full sized, unwatermarked and downloadable at no cost to anyone to whom you've given the address and password.
We live in a world where photos stay on phones and Instagram. However, we know the joy of seeing your memories in physical form. Prints and Albums are available to purchase through the gallery.
Your gallery will stay online for 3 months, at which point it will be archived - so remember to download them and keep them somewhere safe!
