We were absolutely delighted to be back at Eastington Park, (one of our all-time favourite wedding venues in Gloucestershire), to capture the unforgettable wedding of Jenny & Blake! As a sister-in-law photography team, we love documenting weddings full of joy, emotion, and personal touches, and this one had them all.
After weeks of sunshine, the weather surprised everyone with a dramatic summer downpour on the morning of the wedding. Spirits stayed high as the bridal party got ready in the cosy on-site lodge, sharing laughs and excitement despite the change in plans.
While Jenny & Blake originally planned for an outdoor ceremony, they seamlessly shifted to the elegant indoor ceremony space, and honestly, it looked breathtaking. The room was filled with gorgeous floral arrangements, soft lighting, and so much love. One of the most unique parts of the day? Jenny sang their entrance song herself! Her stunning voice filled the room and created a beautifully emotional moment for all the guests (check out Jenny’s music page here).
As the rain continued, we made the most of the beautiful interiors and found a charming side room to capture some relaxed group shots. Then suddenly, a break in the clouds! Everyone excitedly dashed outside for a joyful confetti tunnel, where Jenny & Blake nailed their much-anticipated dip kiss! A true movie moment.
We took some time to wander the lush grounds of Eastington Park with the newlyweds, capturing some gorgeous portraits of the two of them soaking in their just-married bliss. Their connection is so genuine, it was a dream to photograph.
The rest of the evening was filled with heartfelt speeches (yes, there were happy tears), delicious cake, a surprise singer, and an amazing rehearsed first dance that had the crowd cheering. It was the perfect end to a beautiful day.
