Some weddings have a few special touches. This one? It had everything!
On a sunny summer’s day at Pencoed House Estate, guests were treated to a singing waiter, flower arch, string quartet, magician, ice cream bicycle, garden games, mini golf, iced coffee station, sweets table and a photobooth - and that’s just the highlights!
The morning began in The Gate House, where the bride got ready with her bridal party to a Taylor Swift soundtrack. She wore an elegant off-the-shoulder gown with a flowing veil, carrying pastel flowers that smelt as good as they looked. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen fixed their buttonholes, sipped whisky from their personalised bottles, and welcomed very excited guests.
Inside the stone-walled Old Hall, fairy lights twinkled as the bride made her fairytale entrance. There were tears, smiles, and so much love in the room. They exited the hall with the most epic confetti tunnel (some even went in the bride’s mouth)!
Their adorable dog Ted arrived in a tiny suit for photos (and stole the show). Guests enjoyed games, ice cream, a mind-blowing magician, and heartfelt speeches before the big surprise: one of the waiters was actually a singer! Soon, napkins were waving, guests were belting out songs, and a conga line was in full swing!
After cutting their hand-painted cake, the newlyweds danced the night away with a live band. We left with memory cards full of joy (and maybe a craving for another scoop of that delicious ice cream)!
